Mental Math & Firm OA Practice
Start with today's free daily drill, then move on to a full firm-format simulation — CTC, Optiver 80-in-8, Flow Traders, Maven Securities, or SIG. No signup, runs entirely in your browser.
Daily Mental Math
20 questions · 2 minutes · today's set
+1 per correct answer, −1 per wrong answer, skips are free. Same 20 questions for everyone today — a new set rotates in tomorrow.
This is today's shared set — every visitor gets the same 20 questions in the same order today, so it's comparable, and it changes at the next UTC day. For a full, personalized set fresh every single day, that's the TradeMind app's free tier.
Full firm-format simulations
Each of these is one fixed set — the same questions, same order, every attempt — so your score is comparable to anyone else's.

What's the difference between the daily drill and the firm tests below?
The daily drill is short (20 questions, 2 minutes) and generic — everyone gets the same set on a given day, and it rotates the next day. It's for building a habit. The firm-format tests below (CTC, 80-in-8, Flow, Maven, SIG) are longer, closer to a real firm's actual format, and each is one fixed set that never changes — good for a realistic one-off simulation.
Why is the daily set the same for everyone?
Same reason every other test on this site is a fixed set: comparable scores, and it keeps the free web tier a step below the TradeMind app's free tier, which generates a fresh, personalized set every day. Web is the taste; the app is the daily habit tool.
Which firm format should I practice?
If you know which firm you're interviewing with, use that one — Optiver/Akuna commonly use 80-in-8-style screens, Flow and SIG have their own timing and penalty rules, Maven's is shorter with a 5-choice format, and CTC's OA mixes numerical, spatial, verbal and logic sections. If you don't know yet, CTC-style is the broadest warm-up since it covers the most question types.
