1About these terms

TradeMind Future is operated by TradeMind Future Ltd, a private limited company registered in the United Kingdom. In these terms, we, us and our mean TradeMind Future Ltd, and you means the person using the service.

The service is available at future.trademindapp.com and through its iOS app shell. Read these terms before using it. By using the service, you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, you must not use it.

These terms apply only to TradeMind Future. TradeMind Prep is a separate product and is not covered by this agreement.

2Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You may use the service only where doing so is lawful.

The service is provided for your personal, non-commercial research and simulation. You must not use it to manage real investments for another person or present it as a brokerage or investment advisory service.

3Accounts and sign-in

Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date using the available account controls. Do not impersonate another person or let someone else use your sign-in credentials.

Each account has one fixed sign-in method: email and password, Google or Apple, depending on the option used to create it. Matching email addresses do not merge accounts, and you cannot add or switch sign-in methods. Google and Apple are used only to confirm who you are when you sign in. Recovery of a Google or Apple account is handled through that provider.

Take reasonable steps to protect your credentials and devices, and tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise and for taking reasonable care of your account; you are not automatically responsible for every action of someone who gains access without your permission.

4Research and simulation only

TradeMind Future is a research and simulation service. No real money, brokerage connection or paid entitlement is enabled in the service covered by these terms. We do not accept money to invest, hold investments for you or send orders to a real broker.

We do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, dealing, custody or any other regulated financial service through TradeMind Future. Nothing in the service is a personal recommendation to buy, sell or hold an investment, or tax or legal advice.

We do not assess whether an investment or strategy is suitable for your circumstances. Minds, market information, rankings, community content and personalised recommendations of content are research material. Do not treat them as advice for real-money decisions.

5Virtual accounts

Virtual accounts, including Paper accounts, contain simulated balances, positions and transactions. They are not bank, brokerage or ISA accounts. Virtual money has no monetary value, cannot be withdrawn or redeemed and does not give you ownership of an investment.

Actions described as buying, selling, investing or allocating within a virtual account are simulations. Displayed fees, charges, dividends, gains and losses are simulation entries, not payments to or from you. Simulated execution and valuations may differ from what would happen in an actual market.

6Minds and backtests

A Mind is a rule-based portfolio strategy. Studio lets you build its rules, including as a tree of blocks, run backtests on historical market data and use supported Minds in virtual accounts. Available rules, instruments and data determine which simulations can run.

Backtests and simulated results depend on the selected rules, time period, data and assumptions about matters such as prices, fees and execution. They may be affected by missing or revised data and by selecting rules with hindsight. They cannot reproduce every aspect of real trading, including liquidity, market impact and your individual tax position.

Past performance and backtests do not predict or guarantee future results. We do not guarantee that a Mind will make a profit, avoid losses or produce the same results in another test or setting. Publishing, copying or featuring a Mind does not validate its quality or suitability.

7Market data and third-party providers

The service uses third-party data and assets. Sources include Twelve Data, Yahoo Finance and Dukascopy, depending on the dataset and feature. Company logos are supplied through Twelve Data and Elbstream. The presence of a company, instrument or logo does not imply endorsement by its owner.

Historical datasets use final-vintage data: they can include adjustments or revisions made after the historical date being simulated. Filtering that data to a simulated date does not make it a record of everything known on that date. These historical datasets are not a live market feed.

Data may contain errors, delays or gaps, and coverage or provider availability can change. Check the dates, sources and limitations shown with the data. We do not promise that every price is current or that every instrument or historical period is covered. Our duties of reasonable care and skill and your consumer rights still apply.

These terms do not transfer ownership of third-party data or grant a separate right to redistribute it. If you use a third-party service directly, such as Google or Apple sign-in, its terms govern that separate relationship. This does not remove our responsibility for our own service.

8Community and notifications

Community features include posts, articles, comments, likes, follows and public Minds that others can copy. The Community Terms apply alongside these terms and set out the rules for conduct, reporting, blocking and moderation. Read them before participating in the community.

Discover can personalise content using your interests and activity. You can turn off behavioural personalisation using Learn from my activity in Feed preferences; your follows, chosen interests and hidden posts still apply. A recommendation of content is not an investment recommendation or an endorsement of its author.

You can use the available notification settings to manage notifications. Delivery can be delayed or interrupted, so notifications should not be relied on for time-critical decisions or real-money trading.

9Your content and the licences you grant

You keep ownership of your posts, articles, comments, Minds and other original content. Rights belonging to others remain theirs. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content and grant the licences described here.

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, process and display it, and make technical changes needed to format or run it, solely to provide and operate TradeMind Future, including its sharing and moderation features. Service providers acting for us may exercise these rights only for those purposes. This licence does not authorise us to make work you have kept private available to the public.

When you publish content, you allow other users to view it through the service. When you publish a Mind, you also grant other users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to copy its rules using the service and keep, adapt and run those copies for personal research and simulation in TradeMind Future. This limited permission continues for copies made while the Mind was public, even after you unpublish it or delete your account. It does not permit resale or publication outside the service.

Our licence ends when your content is removed from the service, except as needed to support those permitted existing copies, complete deletion or meet legal obligations. Unpublishing a Mind withdraws its public record but does not recall copies already made. The account deletion section explains what happens when you delete your account.

10Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to harm others. Do not introduce malware, seek unauthorised access to accounts or systems, obtain other people's credentials, interfere with the service or bypass security measures, access controls or usage limits.

Do not scrape, bulk download or harvest data or personal information, or automate access in a way we have not authorised. This does not prevent use of features we provide, ordinary accessibility tools or activities that the law gives you a right to carry out which cannot lawfully be restricted.

Do not manipulate community engagement or rankings, send spam, make malicious reports or use another account to evade a restriction. Respect other people's intellectual property and privacy, and follow the Community Terms when interacting with others or publishing content.

11Intellectual property

We and our licensors retain the rights in the service's software, design, branding and other materials, except for content belonging to users or third parties. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive permission to access and use the service and its app for the permitted purposes while you comply with these terms.

You must not reproduce, sell or distribute our software or materials, or use our branding to suggest endorsement, without permission. This restriction does not limit the content permissions above, rights under applicable open-source licences or rights that cannot lawfully be restricted. Applicable open-source notices and licences are available through Settings.

12Availability and changes to the service

We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Access may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, network problems or third-party outages. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will work on every device.

We may make proportionate changes needed to fix faults, address security risks, maintain compatibility, comply with legal requirements or respond to changes in the availability of third-party data. For a change that materially reduces your use of the service, we will explain the reason and give reasonable advance notice where possible. Urgent security or legal changes may need to take effect sooner, with notice as soon as reasonably practicable.

If we decide to discontinue the service, we will give reasonable advance notice unless legal requirements or an urgent security risk prevent this. You may stop using the service and delete your account. Changes or closure do not remove any rights or remedies you already have.

13Suspension and termination

We may restrict a feature, remove content, suspend access or end your access where we have reasonable grounds to believe there is a serious or repeated breach of these terms or the Community Terms, a security threat or unlawful activity, or where the law requires us to act. Our response will be proportionate to the reason and its impact.

Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to put matters right before restricting access. We may act immediately where delay would risk harm, compromise security or prevent us from meeting a legal duty. We may withhold details where disclosing them would itself create such a risk or be unlawful.

You can ask us to review a restriction by contacting [email protected] and explaining the issue. Suspension is not the same as deleting your account. You may stop using the service at any time, and account deletion remains available subject to confirming that the account is yours.

14Deleting your account

Use Delete Future account in Settings and follow the identity confirmation steps to request deletion. If you cannot access that option, contact [email protected] for help. Removing the app from your device or signing out does not delete your account.

Deletion permanently removes your Future identity, private works, virtual accounts and their history, community content and relationships. This cannot be restored. Keep any records of your own work that you need before confirming deletion.

Copies of your published Minds already held by other users keep their independent rules, with your source link removed. Deletion cannot recall content that others have independently saved outside the service. Deleting Future does not delete your Google or Apple account or an account with a separate product. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under data protection law.

15Service limitations and your consumer rights

The service is designed for research and simulation. We do not promise a particular investment result, that a Mind will remain usable with every dataset, or that every historical scenario can be reproduced. User content and third-party information may be inaccurate or incomplete.

These limitations do not excuse a failure to use reasonable care and skill or override a description or commitment that is legally binding on us. You retain all rights and remedies that apply under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. No disclaimer in these terms removes those rights.

16Our responsibility for loss or damage

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes your applicable statutory rights and remedies as a consumer.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a reasonably foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence or if, when this agreement was made, both you and we knew it might happen. Subject to the preceding paragraph, we are not responsible for losses we did not cause or that were not reasonably foreseeable. We do not impose a financial cap based on the amount you have paid for this service.

17Changes to these terms

We may change these terms to reflect changes in law, address security or abuse risks, explain changes to the service made under these terms, or correct unclear wording. Changes must be proportionate to their reason. This clause does not authorise us to introduce charges or expand the content licences without your separate express agreement.

We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the service or your account contact details, explain what is changing and state when the changes take effect. If a legal requirement or urgent security issue requires an earlier change, we will give as much notice as reasonably possible. We will ask for your agreement where the law requires it.

You can stop using the service and delete your account if you do not accept a change. Changes will not retrospectively reduce rights you have already acquired or alter the terms applying to an existing dispute. The effective date and version identify the terms you are reading.

18Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of the country where you habitually live.

The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes about these terms. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in the courts there. Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under mandatory law to bring or defend proceedings in your local courts.

For questions, complaints, account help or a request to review a restriction, contact us at [email protected]. You may contact us to try to resolve a problem without giving up or delaying your right to seek a legal remedy.
